Finally I've found it!...

The Gibson Les Paul Triumph Bass was the first bass guitar I've ever seen; it was in 1980 or '81, and my cousin had just this beauty, identical; since then, I've lost any trace of it.

My Les paul Thiumph is 100% Original, in almost perfect condition considering its age; the neck is straight as an arrow, and the frets have plenty of life. The electronics works perfectly. Comes with the original Gibson hard shell case

The Les Paul Triumph was launched in 1971 as a replacement to the older Les Paul bass which was available from 1969-1971. The main change was the addition of a Hi-Lo impedance selector switch. Other changes were cosmetic; this switch and all other controls were all situated on the front mounted control panel. The standard finish was natural mahogany, with white becoming available from 1975(?). This bass also featured the split diamond inlays on the headstock.

It featured the latest low impedance circuitry, especially designed for recording in the studio, and sometimes goes under the name of the Les Paul Recording bass. Like the solid-body EB basses, and the Les Paul guitar, it had a mahogany body with set mahogany neck. This model had built in switching to change from low to high impedance, that is great to use with a studio mixer/converter.
