Description

This snare drum was part of a "Fab 4" set, introduced to celebrate Ludwig's 90th Anniversary, in 1999.

Ludwig made a limited quantity of drums, some of which are destined to be a collector's item in the next future.

"Fab 4" drum set has the same sizes of the original Ringo set, and the same Oyster Black finish; but in this case Ludwig got the celluloid wrap, typical during the 1960's, instead of the cheaper plastic one.

This snare has the same size of the Ringo's Jazz Festival: it is a 14" x 5"; 10 lugs instead of 8, Maple shell.

It is in perfect condition, the finish ply looks like brand new.

It has a warm, open sound, a great volume, and it's very sensible to every tuning range. Very versatile.
